SANTA’S CHRISTMAS VILLAGE AT SM CITY SAN JOSE DEL MONTE

SM City San Jose del Monte turned its event area into Santa Claus Village wherein children as well as shoppers enjoy the traditional lighting of Christmas tree with the groovy music and different confetti drop.

It is truly the most wonderful time of the year as SM in San Jose del Monte City started to welcome shoppers with the presence of Santa Claus and the vibes of merry Christmas in every corner of the mall.

Inspired by the most spectacular Santa Claus destination in the world which is the Santa Claus Village in Arctic Circle, SM City San Jose del Monte delight its customers to the ceremonial lighting of Christmas centerpiece and the 30-feet tall Christmas tree with series of performances from mainstream and city’s homegrown artists.

Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus started to spread love and joy by initially giving the SM Cares Bears of Joy – a program wherein shoppers are encouraged to buy a pair of teddy bear in which they get to keep one bear and donate the other, during the grand Christmas Launch at SM City San Jose del Monte.

The celebration started with a supreme dance performance of “Jingle Bell Rock” from San Jose del Monte’s very own Kenyo Street Family, the champion in the recent World Supremacy Battlegrounds in Sydney Australia.

Together with FCPC Baliktanaw Dance Troupe, another homegrown talent from the city, Luke Mejares’ rendition of “White Christmas” and “Sleigh Ride” linger the celebration more magical. Also, Cinemalaya 2017 Best Actor, and Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids contestant Noel Comia Jr’s version of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” made every children and teens grooving’.

The Children are enthusiastically take the chance to have a photo with Mr. and Mrs. Santa after they receive a bear during the Grand Santa’s Village at SM City San Jose del Monte.

SM City San Jose del Monte’s Mall Manager Mr. Jose Mari Emmanuel Correa invite shoppers to shop, dine and spend precious time with the people who matter the most, and continue creating unforgettable memories with family and loves ones at SM. He also encouraged mall goers to put a smile on underprivileged children’s faces by purchasing SM Cares Bears of joy for only P200. Shoppers get to keep one bear and donate the other to the chosen charitable institutions. “Because Christmas is also sharing love, happiness, and compassion to the less fortunate”Mr. Correa added.

Mr. and Mrs. Santa generously meet and greet the San Joseño kids and started to give SM Cares bears of Joy during the Grand Christmas Launch of SM City San Jose del Monte.

With the ceremonial lighting of Christmas centerpiece, shoppers will surely feel the magic of Santa’s home as they ride the instagrammable red Santa’s sleigh. In addition, they will surely make an effort to strike a pose in the red sofa in front of the golden-red and shining 30-feet tall Christmas tree. Surrounding are different house-like stalls wherein customers can buy their favorite Christmas gift and favors.

San Jose del Monte’s very own Kenyo Street Family wows the shoppers with a supreme dance performance of “Jingle Bell Rock”. They are the champion in the recent World Supremacy Battlegrounds in Sydney Australia.

The celebration continue with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus meet and greet. The generous couple started to spread love and joy to the children of Tungkong Mangga Integrated School by initially giving the SM Cares bears of joy.

Luke Mejares serenade the shoppers with his moving rendition of “White Christmas” and grooving version of “Sleigh Ride.”

And to cap the momentous day, SM City San Jose del Monte once again delight the shoppers and guests with a spectacular and magical fireworks display at the mall view deck and lagoon. Mall goers will again witness this fireworks exhibition every Saturday of December at 7PM.
