Spending most of my residency in the south of Manila, I  have never thought there could be much more than the concrete jungle and the modern infrastructures. Instagram-worthy sights and serene surroundings are ready for the taking in this highly-urbanized place, Muntinlupa, which is just a few hours away from my home. As if a valuable stone dug from the ground, cut and processed to reveal its beauty, it now shines as a jewel and is now popularly known as the Emerald City of the Philippines. Also, huge development has taken place in Muntinlupa particularly in Alabang district giving it the monicker of “Most Competitive and Improved City”.
