Bellissima Egg White Soap Review

My skin was not at its best when I was in High school thus, I experimented with a lot of homemade products: from trying out Honey masks combining with my all time favorite Apple cider toner which lessens the break out to switching to Dickinson’s Witch Hazel toner. Egg White masks have been a staple in my routine.

Unknown to many, there are numerous benefits of using Egg Whites on the skin. Egg White masks removes facial hair, helps shrink pores by tightening the skin, prevents acne, reduces oily skin, lifts the skin, helps get rid of black heads, reduces under eye puffiness, plus since it lifts and tightens the skin, it is also useful in delaying premature aging brought about by fine lines & wrinkles.

I love the tightening sensation it provides. My skin type is oily so it can be sometimes a hassle especially if I am travelling. Good thing, I won a beauty set of Bellissima Egg White soap last December 21st, 2017 at the Bloggers Philippines Christmas party.

Bellissima Egg White comes in a neat Sky Blue package which is pleasing to the eyes, the box contains all the important details about the soap including Directions, Caution, and Ingredients. To make it even better, the soap itself is White and shaped like an egg! The scent was light. Also, the Egg white soap lathers easily with water.

After two weeks of use on my body, my skin felt softer due to the rich creamy lather of the soap and I have not had any breakouts. My skin is sensitive and I used to have rashes using some soaps but I did not have that kind of reaction with it. The list of ingredients contains Kojic acid dipalmitate which is supposed to lighten the skin. My skin become a bit lighter and became clearer probably due to the removed dead skin cells.

Overall, the product lives up to its promise of softer, whiter, and tighter skin. It felt like having lotion since my skin is moisturized. The result of whitening would probably be gradual, however, the glow on my skin is noticeable.

My Vivere Salon Galleria Experience with Ysmael Sagayaga

Hair is one of the best accessory to any woman because of its versatility to the ever changing fashion trends and personal life choices. Investing in one’s hair is important as it reflects our own identity.

My hair have gone through a lot of transformation for the past 2 years , the most notable one was when I decided to try blonde hair with white highlights. I receive a lot of compliments but due to work compliance I have to tone it down to a rich light brown color.

By December last year I badly needed to touch up on my roots as my hair is getting longer. Luckily I was given a diy liese bubble color in marshmallow brown. My first diy was a success and it lasted for a few months.

Until February came when I was invited to do a hair coloring session. I always wanted to rock a pastel colored mane but the hair stylist suggested a subtle dye which is a combination of black and blue ombre.

After so many years of coloring my hair I went back to black again. The blue half of my ombre hair faded into blonde. My hair is naturally thick and the length is just above my waist line. I badly needed a makeover because my hair had become dull and frizzy at the same time due to my work schedule I hardly have time to go to a salon.Luckily Vivere Salon Galleria was right up my alley when I decided to update my NBI clearance at Robinson Lingkod Pinoy center.

Ambiance

I was immediately welcomed by Vivere Salon Galleria‘s posh yet minimalistic design. The salon is a breath of fresh air unlike the roadside street salon which reeks of a strong smell of chemicals. The staff greeted me with a smile and courteously assisted me to my seat . I was given a free complimentary ice tea and the password to their wifi as salon appointments can take up to 4-6 hours.

Their Senior Stylist Ysmael Sagayaga was the one who was assigned to me. Ysmael has a 4 year experience as a Junior Stylist and was promoted and assigned at Robinson Galleria Vivere Salon branch last May as one of their Senior Stylist. According to Ysmael some of their Senior Stylist was sent internationally to be trained at Vidal Sassoon Academy.

After sporting my dark ombre locks for a few months, I was ready to embrace the vibrant colored hair life again. Equipped with a picture of my latest hair color inspiration which is ash grey. Ysmael assessed my hair to see if it can handle the bleaching and after finding out that my hair was dyed in black, we did a test bleach on the side section of my hair to check if the color will stick.

Unfortunately the Black dye was too strong and it can only take a certain degree of bleaching to make it lighter. Ysmael showed me another option for my locks which was dark violet or red.

The first step was to wash my hair with a little head massage

Then they bleached my hair 2 times and I am just glad that my hair is thick to take all the bleaching.

They washed my hair again and then the color was already applied

They put my hair under the orbiting hair dryer and color processor

They washed my hair and put on some treatment.

They blow dried and curl my hair . I love how it shines under the light .

Overall experience:

The staff was friendly and courteous. The salon offers a wide range of services for every hair needs. The result made my hair shine under the light and the curls accentuate the dark violet and red color. I am happy with my hair color as it was the color in between subtle and vibrant . The dark violet with ombre red ends complimented my skin color.

After 3 days

After 3 days the color is still vibrant as I have not washed it yet for the color to stick. It is more vibrant under direct sunlight and the ends turned into a somewhat red and pink hue. I received a lot of compliments and one in particular is from my niece and nephew , they thought I was going for Ariel ( little mermaid) signature color.

My Weekend Flash Sale Experience at Ayala South Park

Nothing gets me excited than the weekends. I can finally have time for myself. No more work, no more traffic, no more STRESS, no more nothing. What’s with the weekends, anyways? This weekend, I heard that there’s a Flash Sale going on. Yep, shopping is my stress reliever. I headed to Robinson’s Flash Sale at the newly opened Ayala South Park mall in Muntinlupa City. Yeah, it’s Friday. It was traffic and July 14th is a payday which makes it even worse but a girl’s got to do what a girl’s got to do. Huge discounts mean stretching the power of the peso.

Besides, it’s not everyday that there’s a sale. The flash sale is exclusive to Robinson’s Rewards Card holders but the card can be purchased for a discounted price of P100 instead of the usual P150 if you don’t have it yet. Participating stores are Robinson’s owned establishments: Robinson’s Department Store, Robinson’s Supermarket, Daiso, Toys ‘R Us, Handyman and South Star Drug.

My first stop was Toys “R” Us. They have a huge selection of toys and I thought of bringing some home for my nephews. Toys R Us was officially launched here in the country in 2006 and is best known as the “World’s Greatest Toy Store”.

They have a strong portfolio of brands, they also have their own line of private brands and exclusive merchandise such as BRU, Dream Dazzlers, True Heroes, Just Like Home, Educational Science, Fast Lane, Animal Alley, and You and Me dolls. Toys “R” Us is a go-to-store for toy lovers of all ages. I have to admit, at this age I still have a thing for collecting toys.

It was a breeze going through the store as everything is neatly categorized. They have the Let’s Play Zone, Action and Adventure Zone, Tech Zone, Babies “R” US, Family Fun, and Game one. Ayala South Park is their 33rd branch up to date.

Next is my hunt for clothes at the Robinsons Department Store. Thirty to a whopping seventy percent discount applies to selected merchandise. Even the branded ones are on sale too! Shoes, jackets, sporting goods, jewelry and so much more were all on sale! The sale range from 30% to 70% and that is a lot of saving to get a whole new chic wardrobe.

My favorite store would be Daiso Japan where they have most products for Php 88. It’s where I shop for beauty products, snacks, chocolates, household items and everything kawaii.

Their hardware store is the Handyman where I looked for the tools I need. I have this habit of fixing things rather than hiring a carpenter to do the job. I even have my own tool box at home!

I remembered back in the province, there were Southstar drug branches. Finally we have it here too. It is strategically located beside Robinson’s Supermarkets and these two stores are both part of the Flash sale. Grocery goods and even my medicine were purchased at discounted prices. One of my favorite place at any mall is the Supermarket and what differentiate Robinson Supermarket from the rest, is their advocacy to focus on improving and promoting wellness. The first selection of food that was displayed on their entrance was the fresh fruits so that people can easily grab healthier options. They do have a rack of food and tags for health conscious individuals.

I clearly lost track of time as I did my shopping but it was convenient due to the friendly and polite staff. I meticulously check for product details before buying them and they did not fail to provide assistance in the process. Check out lines are organized. Personally, I shop at Robinson’s stores also because of the great store atmosphere and design. There are still two days left. The three-day Flash Sale at Ayala South Park Mall is from the 14th to the 16th of July. It was a good thing I bought everything I need before Saturday. Happy shopping everyone!

1000 peso Back to School Shopping Challenge At Tutuban Center

Tutuban Center holds a special place in my heart, as way back in high school I used to shop here with my parents. I can vividly remember how amazed I was at the prices and how big the place is, since I got two pants and a shirt for just P300.

It was quite a bargain and I learned how to haggle at the same time. I got invited to a shopping challenge and the budget was P1000. We were given a list of what we should buy and since I used to work in a bank ,I put my budgeting and time management skills to the test.

The first hour was overwhelming as there were many choices from clothes, shoes, bags, gadgets, beauty products and school supplies. Tutuban center changed as they now have 3 floors full of stores that will cater to all your needs.

I spent 2 hours roaming around first to check out each and every store so that by the next hour I know where to buy what was on my list.

Lunch time came and we dined in at Savory, our lunch was filled with scrumptious food and fun conversations as we exchange ideas on which store gives the best deal.

School essentials

After lunch my first stop was to get school supplies and Papermart was right up my alley. I spent 15 mins here rummaging for art supplies. I bought a box of crayons, colored paper,art paper, pencil sharpener and a bundle of brown envelope for only P193.75

Sulit Buys

For the bag I went to a store that sells bags for a fixed price of P200, I tried to haggle for a lower deal but the seller was firm with the price range. I had to rummage through the pile because they usually unbox different designs every hour and there were a lot of people at this store .

I finally settled for a cute mini bag that has a deer galaxy design on the cover. This was my sulit buy as it was trendy, waterproof, plus it is expandable.

Just across this shop is a mini arcade where you can let your kids play as they have an automated animal type of car.

There was also a shop that sells superhero costumes and figurines. This shop is ideal for those who is into cosplay and want to have their creative shot to standout at their graduation pictorial.

OOTD Essentials

For my OOTD essentials, I went to the second floor as my friend Chel from http://www.heyitschel.com suggested that clothes are cheaper on one store called Rufina. The second floor was filled with stores that sells, wedding gowns to debutant gowns.

Rufina was at the far end corner and when I entered the store, I was overwhelmed by the great selection of clothes. I got a millennial pink blazer for P55 that can turn your outfit from corporate campus chic to casual wear with a flare.

I also got a simple lace dress for P55 that is ideal to wear on a hot day at the campus and it can be paired with the millennial pink blazer for an added accent.

There is another Rufina store at the ground floor and that is where I got my chiffon yellow/ white long sleeves with black cuffs and beaded collar for only P85. This particular type of shirt is best paired with pants or a long skirt . A very versatile type of clothing for everyday wear

Rainy Day Essentials

I went to a store called Orignamura that sells my rainy day essentials which was a Barbie poncho type of raincoat for only P165 and a mini manual Hello Kitty fan that costs P40 for humid days and for a daily commuter like me this is very useful because Philippine weather is unpredictable.

I still have change to spare so I roamed around again and found this perfect leatherette type of white shoes for only P180. This type of sneakers is perfect even for rainy days as it is easy to clean and waterproof except for the shoelace but I have tried wearing it around campus on a rain day and it was comfortable. The sneakers can be worn with jeans or a dress.

Total cost of my shopping was P 973.75 and I still got a change of P26.25, I could have gotten 2 pens with the change but the line at National Bookstore was overwhelming, so I opted to turn it over instead. Overall my haul was affordable and perfect for an on the budget student.
